Q&A with coach Gorham:

What is the most exciting aspect for your team in this upcoming season? We have several kids returning for this season and should be very competitive in the state. ... The kids always look at the rankings, and I think it great for the kids to be noticed for their hard work and dedication.

Which starters are returning this season and what accolades did they earn last year?On offense, running back-wide receiver Joe Hansley who committed to CSU, quarterback Steve Donatell, who has received an offer from Nebraska, lineman Ed Caldwell who has offers from UNC and Colorado School of Mines, lineman Andrew Barrett, full back Sterling Washington, wide receiver Connor McFadden and slot back Cole Parker. Defense has defensive backs Joe Hansley and Adam Gauthier and linebackers Richard Mbugua, Ty Martindale, Mike Cerullo and lineman Troy Jose.

What may define your team in this league?Again, we are looking forward to the season. If we stay healthy, we should be in the mix.

Anything else our readers should know about your team that was not already asked?I have a new defensive coordinator this year. It’s Brandon Carlucci. He coached defensive backs last year for us. He brings a ton of energy to the defense and the kids love it.
