Arapahoe Community College (ACC) will host a Spring Job Fair
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 31 to help students and the public
learn about job opportunities and best practices for searching for
a job.
More than 20 employers representing government, financial,
health care, retail, security, insurance, sales, military,
nonprofit, marketing, hospitality and other sectors will be on hand
to meet one-on-one with potential candidates. Attendees should
“dress for success” and bring copies of their resume. Information
and advising on ACC career, degree and certificate programs will
also be available.
Liz Ryan, CEO of Ask Liz Ryan, will present, “Career Reboot:
Powerful New Millennium Job Search Techniques That Work” from noon
to 1:30 p.m. This free public seminar will be held in ACC’s Half
Moon and will include information on how to avoid corporate black
holes, how to reach hiring managers directly and how to accelerate
your job search.
This free event is hosted by the ACC Career Center, which also
sponsors monthly six-hour career planning seminars for those
undecided on a career goal or wanting to make a career change.
Community members are welcome.
The next Career Planning Seminar will be covered in three
sessions from 6 to 8 p.m. on April 12, April 14 and April 19. The
deadline to sign up is April 7. Attendees must come to all three
sessions. The May Career Planning Seminar will be held at the same
time on May 9, May 16 and May 23 with a sign-up deadline of May 4.
A small fee will be charged.
The ACC Job Fair will be held on the second floor lobby of the
main campus building. ACC’s Littleton Campus is located at 5900 S.
