On Dec. 31, at approximately 7 a.m., the City of Lone Tree
Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting an armed
robbery.
The white male suspect, driving a black SUV, collided into the
rear bumper of the adult female victim’s vehicle at Yosemite Street
and Heritage Hills Parkway at 6:20 a.m. Once the suspect and the
victim pulled over, the suspect approached the victim and
brandished a handgun and demanded valuable items. The victim was
not injured.
The suspect was described as between 5 feet 10 and 6 feet with a
medium build and a black leather bomber jacket and dark jeans. The
suspect was also described as having salt and pepper colored facial
hair that was very short in length and said to be in his mid-40s.
The suspect was described as being well-groomed.
