Sept. 5
Torah Scroll. The Jewish Community of South Metro Denver will
celebrate the completion of a brand new hand-written Torah Scroll.
This historical event and celebration is at 3 p.m. Sept. 5 at
Chabad Jewish Center, 9950 Lone Tree Parkway, Lone Tree. The event
is open to the public and will include (in addition to the scribe
filling letters and completing the Torah) arts and crafts for kids,
souvenirs, and educational opportunities.
Sept. 11
Wag’n Romp dog event is from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 11 at Cook
Creek Pool. Dog swim, pet vendors, giveaways and competitions. To
