Storm wreaks havoc on South Metro area

An afternoon storm has flooded some parts of Douglas County. This car in Lone Tree at C-470 and Yosemite Street, was caught in the Friday storm.

The storm wreaked havoc throughout the South Metro area. Reports of hail, mudslides and lighting fires lay in its wake.

At about 4 p.m. a tornado warning was issued. South Metro Fire Rescue issued warnings through social media.
