Coffee with the mayor

Holly Cook

Nearly five months have passed since Jim Gunning was elected mayor of Lone Tree. Prior to Gunning’s election, Jack O’Boyle filled the position for 10 years.

While Gunning is making headway, many Lone Tree residents don’t know their second-ever mayor.

The City of Lone Tree, in conjunction with the Lone Tree Chamber of Commerce, will be host to Meet the Mayor, to provide residents the opportunity to pick the mayor’s brain.

Gunning will chat with community members and address any concerns they might have from 7-9 a.m. Sept. 24, at Safeway, 9229 E. Lincoln Ave.

For more information, call Donna Russell at 720-363-5578.
