Lone Tree author Schmidt publishes children’s series
Lone Tree author-illustrator David Schmidt has launched his new
series of action-adventure children’s chapter books.
“Natural Forces” is an environmentally themed line of fictional
stories for children ages 8-11 that follow the exploits of five
orphaned animal youngsters chosen to be protectors of the
earth.
Each wild creature — wolf, bear, ferret, falcon and badger — has
been given the power to morph into their adult-warrior form to
fight evil and ensure the survival of the environment and the
planet.
Each hero is also endowed with amazing mystical weapons and
superpowers. All three titles in the Natural Forces series, “Air in
Judgement,” “Jinx of the Black Lynx” and “Game of Spade’s” are
available at any Tattered Cover Bookstore, as well as from Amazon
or Ingram, and, of course, directly from the publisher. The series
is planned for 12 books if they prove popular.
