Meek the clear choice

Susan Meek is the clear choice for the Douglas County School Board.

Having worked with Susan over the last few years, I have found her to be one of the most intelligent, thoughtful and hard-working individuals that I have ever known. Her proven record of collaboration, which won her the 2018 State Leadership Award from the Colorado Association of School Boards, will be an asset to the board of education.

Susan has extensive experience volunteering and working in education at both the district level and the state level. She created the Apple Awards that honor our best teachers and worked to launch innovative programs for career and technical education.

The progress the board has made these past two years has once again made Douglas County a destination for families to raise their children. Meek’s support of the current board’s work and her vision of safe and welcoming schools, with stable learning environments that encourage innovation, make her the clear choice for the Douglas County School Board.
