A man walking his dog in Lone Tree was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle, during rush hour, at 6 p.m. Nov. 17, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.

The 52-year-old unidentified man was walking northbound at Lincoln Avenue and Falcon Creek Drive when he was struck by a vehicle going eastbound. He was transported to Sky Ridge Medical Center in critical condition. No specifics have been released at this time.

The crash is still under investigation by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
