School supply drive through July

A group of local leaders is planning the second annual school supply drive to serve the needs of Douglas County families.

The Giving Tree will collect needed items at all six Douglas County Library locations and at local Safeway stores during the month of July. Several local businesses are also doing internal supply drives.

The Giving Tree comprises local business and political leaders who conduct food and supply drives to help those in need.
