Talent contest open to school-aged kids in county

Talented school-aged children and teens in Douglas County are invited to audition for the 15th annual Stars of Tomorrow competition, presented by Kiwanis Club of Castle Rock.

Applications and details are available at www.castlerockkiwanis.org. Only 100 applicants will be accepted, and the application deadline is Friday, Jan. 24.

Auditions will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons St., Lone Tree. The final competition will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 3 at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Scholarships will be awarded for winners in the Best of Show, Senior, Middle, Elementary, and Rising Star divisions.
