Posted

The Town of Parker has completed a first draft of the Chambers and Hess Subarea Plan, a framework for future commercial development at the intersection of Hess Road and Chambers Road, and is requesting the public’s feedback.

The town’s community development department has been developing the plan for the past year, according to a news release from the town sent Aug. 3.

The town will host a virtual “open house” meeting Aug. 19 from 6 p.m. to 7 via Zoom meetings discussing the project. To access the meeting, visit ParkerOnline.org/Calendar.

The plan seeks to balance land use, transportation and market realities for appropriately scaled amenities to guide future development at what is planned to be an important community center, according to the town.
